June 2026: Parking Charge Increases in Reading
This is the letter we have sent to the relevant Reading Borough Councillors regarding the recent decision to introduce a minimum two-hour parking charge in council car parks.
We believe this policy will hurt working families, discourage people from visiting Reading's already struggling town centre, and place further pressure on local businesses. In the long term, it risks reducing footfall and could even decrease revenue rather than increase it.
Newsletter May 2026 - Results
Although we did not win any seats this time round, we are pleased with our results. To come 2nd and 3rd in most cases in our first round of local elections was a brilliant outcome. We have scared the establishment.
Thanks to all our candidates and volunteers for all the effort they put in - we could not have achieved this without you.
